Day 7

Treat yourself with a Sunset Cruise on the Royal Jet Cruiser with the excursion discounts offered at the Aonang Phu Petro resort.

Day 8

Either take a 1.5-hour flight or a long 10-hour drive filled with beautiful sights to Bangkok, and then catch a direct flight back home.

You also have the choice of heading up to one of many rooftop bars like the Sky Bar or the Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar.

Day 2

A trip to Thailand is incomplete without seeing one of the floating markets. Be prepared to spend an entire day at the floating market because they’re on the city outskirts. Visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market which is the largest and one of the oldest ones in Bangkok.

Day 3

Take a 2-hour drive to Pattaya from Bangkok. This beautiful resort city with a large expat population has many things to offer. Head to your abode at the Let’s Hyde Resort & Villas. Enjoy a beach party or get your adrenaline pumping with some exciting water sports at Coral Island, which is a must-visit.

Day 4

Tiffany’s Cabaret show is another place considered an absolute must-visit. It is located less than 5 minutes away from the beach and 500 m from the Let’s Hyde resort. However, the real fun begins only when you hit the Pattaya’s party scene in the Walking Street and experience the stunning nightlife.

Day 5

From Pattaya, drive to Hua Hin, a resort city established by the Thai Royals, which is approximately 4 hours away.

You can experience a calmer side of Thailand in Hua Hin, away from the crowds. Check-in at the Yana Villas and enjoy a floating pool snack in the evening. Later, keep your schedule open and explore the beautiful city and its night markets.

Day 6

There are a host of nature-related activities available around Hua Hin. But keep the 6th day aside for a visit to the popular monkey Mountain, which houses the Wat Khao Lad temple, a 20m-tall Buddha, a Chinese temple and of course, lots of monkeys!

Day 7

You can either take a 2.5-hour drive or take the airport shuttle from Yana Villas to get back to Bangkok, from where you can directly catch a flight back home.

3. The Romantic Escapist

 itnierary for romantic trip

Looking for a romantic getaway in the land of smiles? This 6-day itinerary will ensure your Thailand holiday is dreamy and memorable.

Day 1

Arrive at Koh Samui & transfer to the Belmond Napasai. Arguably the most stunning of destinations in Thailand, Koh Samui will want you to do too much or too little! Spend the first day exploring the surroundings and the resort facilities or visit the popular Chaweng beach.

Day 2

When in Koh Samui, do as the locals do: Relax! Keep this day free as you make spontaneous plans to either enjoy the beach sands together, go diving or just chill at one of the bars.

Day 3

Reserve this day to get out and get sun-tanned. Proceed on a visit to the islands around Samui like Koh Tao. It means ‘Turtle Island’ and is the scuba diving destination of choice in Thailand.

Day 4

This is where the fun begins! Head to the Koh Phangan Island, which is about an hour by ferry. Ferries depart at every half an hour from various points from Koh Samui. Check in to the Panmivan Resort and get ready for an amazing time.

Koh Phangan is a small island which was discovered by tourists and labelled as the spot where one can experience “full moon nights” in all its glory! Every full moon, there is a Full moon party which is renowned all over the world. The pull of this place is such that there is hardly a place to stand in a 2 km stretch of beach.

Day 5

After a night of partying, keep the next day for some rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.  Pick a spa treatment of your choice from a plethora of options at the  Panviman Resort and just lie back and get revitalized.

Day 6

Return to Koh Samui from Koh Phangan and catch a connecting flight via Bangkok back home.

4. A Long weekend break

destinations for a long weekend in thailand

Make your own rules as you enjoy a rare 6-day weekend in Thailand. Discover the best of Thailand at Bangkok and Koh Samui with this itinerary.

Day 1

Day 2

Reserve the day for Chinatown market or Asiatique Riverfront. Asiatique has successfully combined two of the most popular shopping experiences in the city: a night bazaar and a mall.

Day 3

Fly to Koh Samui and spend your holiday at the Belmond Napasai. After a delicious brunch, head to the northern coast of Koh Samui and visit the famous Big Buddha shrine. The 12-metre high golden Buddha is probably Samui’s most well-known landmark.

Day 4

When in Koh Samui, don’t miss the waterfalls. Although Samui has several waterfalls, the two Na Muang waterfalls are definitely the most picturesque.

The name Na Muang refers to the massive purple rocks at the waterfalls. Rocks and tree roots form a natural staircase that leads to the base of Na Muang 1. A 10-minute walk further up the mountain leads to Samui’s most beautiful waterfall, Na Muang 2. Don’t pass up on this experience!

Day 5

Spend day 5 indulging in water sports like kite surfing, kayaking, snorkelling or enjoy an interesting day going elephant trekking or watching a crocodile show!

Day 6

You can fly back home from Koh Samui on a connecting flight via Bangkok.
